To achieve a suspension system suitable for expeditions, it was essential to optimize the tuning of springs and shock absorbers. This ensured the best balance between load capacity and ride quality. The 2.5" DualSport RT Suspension System includes frequency-tuned, 3-zone coil springs with progressive spring rates. The 46mm Bilstein 5100-series shocks are tuned for a slightly firmer, sportier ride. The AEV/Bilstein coil spring and shock combination used in this suspension not only increases travel, but also provides better articulation, allows for higher speed off-road and better touchdown control.
